I was convinced our baby just didn’t need sleep and was nearing exhaustion with hourly wake ups and with work looming, after 12 months I knew we had to make a change and this is when we found Katrina. Katrina was lovely and welcoming, she took her time to understand what we were trying to get out of the process and she was clear and concise with our options and helped us develop a programme which was right for us as a family. She held my hand through changing nap timings and bed times and helped me to transition my daughter onto one nap. Katrina was always at the end of an email and would reply almost immediately with friendly support and advice. After only 3 weeks I have a different baby! She is having one lovely long nap in the daytime and is going to bed on schedule at 7pm each evening and more than not sleeping right through until morning. I cannot thank Katrina enough. This has been a wonderful, kind and gentle experience with us all feeling much more rested, positive and happy. I will miss my daily check ins with Katrina but I know that she has armed me with the right tools I need to continue with the journey and to make sleep a positive experience not only just for my daughter but for mum and dad too!

Katrina was a gamechanger for calm nights in our household. We thought it’s too late to sleep-train our strong-willed 19 month old toddler, who used to wake up at least 3 times a night including a 3am bottle feed, but she managed to crack it. Our 4-year-old has always had unusual sleeping habits. As a baby she wouldn't go to sleep in a cot and had to be cuddled to sleep, later on, she would climb out of her cot and chose to sleep on the floor by the stairgate at the top of the stairs. As she got older her sleeping patterns changed into new, equality unorthodox, sleeping habits. Basically, she couldn't sleep unless she was with or close to someone. She was happy in any bed, except her own, and was happiest when there was another person cuddling her to sleep. When she woke in the night, she'd go in search of someone and crawl into bed with them. Katrina identified that she needed to learn to drop off to sleep independently and came up with a strategy to help her go to sleep in her own bed and stay there throughout the night. Unsurprisingly, our daughter initially resisted the new regime. By the end of the first week, just as we couldn't stand the lack of sleep longer and were convinced that it wasn't going to work for our daughter, things suddenly clicked into place. She went to sleep in her own bed and slept through the night. We've now had two weeks of sleep! There have been a few days when she's tried to test us and we've had to revisit the strategies, but when she saw that we weren't going to budge, she settled down and went back to sleep again. If you've got the willpower to see this through, then the results are incredible, and I wouldn't have been able to do it without Katrina's continued support throughout. Thank you!!

5 weeks ago our baby fed for 2 hours at bedtime, woke at least every 1 to 2 hours overnight, fed for an hour during wake ups and only slept in the carrier during the day. I was completely exhausted!
Katrina has helped our now 7 month old sleep all night in her cot with only one wake up for a feed. She doesn't feed to sleep anymore and feeds for about 10 mins before bedtime and 20 mins overnight. Our daughter naps in her cot during the day and can link sleep cycles. At times the journey is challenging, but Katrina was always at the end of an email or frequent zoom call to support us. Thanks to Katrina, I'm finally getting some sleep and we have our evenings back as a couple!

We have a 4 year old who has always needed one of us in contact with her for her to fall asleep. When she was a baby we co-slept, when she was in her own room she’d fall asleep on us until we transferred her into her own cot fast asleep and even at 3yrs old we were lying in her toddler bed cuddled up to her in the dark, waiting, waiting, waiting for her to go to sleep. Lying, silently in the dark for 45mins was frustrating when there is life admin and chores that needs doing and your own downtime is ebbing away. We knew in the long-run it wasn’t healthy for her independence and confidence too. Eventually, her falling-asleep time spiralled to 9.45pm and we knew we needed to seek help. And despite many disruptions from illnesses, family visits and work travel, she kept us on track. We now have a 4 year old who takes half as long to fall asleep and without us in the room. My partner and I are so thankful that we found Katrina! We were stuck in a cycle of feeding to sleep, short naps (or naps only on us) and waking every 3 hours overnight. When we got in touch with Katrina, we were at breaking point. Our 10-month-old son was waking every 1-2 hours, spending large chunks of the night in our bed, and only breastfeeding would get him back to sleep. We signed up for a 3-week package hoping to make some progress. This picture sums up how much our lives have changed since having Katrina’s sleep advice. We were in an awful cycle before with our twins of really frequent night wakings and feeding throughout the night. We were exhausted and didn’t have the energy to do much at all. I never imagined we’d ever have the energy to go away but look at us now!
I have used one other sleep consultant previously and would only recommend Katrina going forward. She takes a really clear, logical but sympathetic approach and we were given the option to adjust the twins sleep at whatever pace we felt was right. Our daughter was co-sleeping and constantly breastfeeding on demand during the night at 23 months old.
With an imminent job changing, we decided we had to do something so we contacted Katrina for her gentle approach.

I can’t thank Katrina enough for how much she has improved our little one’s sleep. Our daughter would wake up multiple times during the night, often for long periods, and had become extremely difficult to put down for naps and bedtime, after learning to stand at 10 months. I reached out to Katrina after seeing a few recommendations for her, to she if she may be able to help us on my run up to returning to work.
Right from the off, I felt I was speaking to an old friend rather than someone I’d never spoken to, Katrina was so friendly and gave me some brilliant advice even from our first chat.
I opted for the 2 week package, and after even the first night of the plan, I had seen dramatic improvements. After completing the 2 weeks my daughter now sleeps through the night, and happily settles herself for naps in her cot. We have seen improvements in our daughters eating, and development since she has been sleeping so much better, so I honestly cannot recommend Katrina’s services enough! Getting support from Katrina has been life changing for me and completely worth the money. I had some reservations about using a sleep consultant but I had come to breaking point and in hindsight I think my son was also ready for the change. Katrina was able to listen to me and go at the pace I was comfortable with which really helped. I successfully night weaned and got to sleep through the night after 15 months of very disrupted sleep. We worked on naps and it was definitely hard work - I became obsessed with sleep and for the 2 week we worked together everything else took a back seat. As a single parent I had to get into the mindset that it was going to be extra tiring but worth it in the end and it really was! Katrina was readily available on WhatsApp and responded quickly to questions I had day to day which was really reassuring and took the mental load for me - it was great having someone tell me what to do after months of reading lots about sleep and trying to figure things out myself. Having a first child who loved to sleep, loved his bed, and with very little work slept over 13 hours a night without disruption, we both thought we had nailed the sleep business and we’re complete pro’s. How wrong we were. Our second child Max was the complete opposite, and since day one has slept/ fidgeted in our bed between us both.
Our friends used Katrina for an entirely different sleep problem and raved about her so we thought we give her a go. Our daughter, Lilly, was seven months old and had been waking multiple times throughout the night leaving Mum and Dad extremely tired. This was particularly frustrating given that our first daughter had always been an excellent sleeper.
